As the founding member of WILDE, an indie electro-pop band based in Toronto, I took on roles in management, creative direction, and A&R. Working closely with the talented members—Giselle Mapp, Olutobi Nyra Akinwumi, and Brandon Merenick—I was deeply involved in every aspect, from developing our distinctive sound to crafting the visual identity that set us apart in the music scene.

Giselle brought her powerful vocals and lyrical depth, Olutobi infused the band with a unique blend of rhythmic creativity and musical versatility, and Brandon’s innovative production techniques elevated our sound to new heights. Together, we quickly caught the attention of both independent and major labels, allowing us to embark on exciting collaborations with renowned brands and organizations such as Converse, Red Bull Music Academy, Fool’s Gold Records, Soulection, CBC, and SOHO House Toronto.

Our journey was marked by a dedication to authenticity and innovation, as we pushed boundaries within the electro-pop genre while maintaining a strong connection with our audience. The creative synergy among us helped us not only to develop our music but also to craft a compelling narrative that resonated with fans.
